Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 864)

  • Designed for older parents who wish to live in Australia permanently.
  • Requires a higher visa application charge but has a faster processing time.

Sponsored Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 870)

Child Visas

If you are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may be able to sponsor your dependent child to live with you in Australia on a temporary or permanent basis.

Offhore Child Visa (Subclass 101)

  • Subclass 101: Must be applied for from outside Australia. Allows the child to travel to and live in Australia permanently.
  • The child must be under 18 years old, or under 25 years old and studying full time, or have an eligible disability.  The applicant must be, and have always been, single.

Onshore Child Visa (Subclass 802)

Remaining Relative Visas

Reunite with Your Only Close Family in Australia

If you have no close family members living outside Australia, you may be eligible for a Remaining Relative Visa. This visa allows you to live permanently in Australia with your only near relatives who are Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens.
