Position Details

What you’ll be doing

Full-time Tradesperson (Machinist) reporting to the Workshop Manager.
  • Perform precision CNC and conventional machining to tight tolerances as part of component remanufacturing and surface engineering workflows.
  • Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after each job, recording dimensions and parameters on job traveller documentation.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, job instructions, and specifications; seek clarification proactively before commencing work.
  • Accurately log job progress, materials used, and rework activities using shop floor data entry systems.
  • Participate in Lean 5S Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain machines, tools, and work areas; conduct routine maintenance per established schedules.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team across multiple process areas.
